Synopsis

The remote host is affected by a URL redirection to untrusted site vulnerability.

Description

The version of Fortinet FortiSIEM running on the remote host is 7.4.1 through 7.4.2, or 7.5.0 through 7.5.1. It is, therefore, affected by a URL redirection to untrusted site vulnerability:

- A URL redirection to untrusted site ('open redirect') vulnerability in Fortinet FortiSIEM may allow an authenticated attacker to cause a redirection to any website via specially crafted HTTP requests.
(CVE-2026-84389)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

No fixed release is available at this time. Fortinet indicates that upcoming FortiSIEM versions 7.5.2 and 7.6.0 will address this issue. Refer to the vendor advisory for details.
