Description

The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability, as follows:

- GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 19.0 before 19.1.8, 19.2 before 19.2.6, and 19.3 before 19.3.2 that under certain conditions could have allowed an unauthenticated user to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of a targeted user's session due to improper sanitization of pasted HTML content in the Content Editor. (CVE-2026-19619)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to GitLab version 19.1.8, 19.2.6, 19.3.2 or later.
