Synopsis

An application installed on the remote host is affected by an improper authentication vulnerability.

Description

According to its self-reported version number, the version of JFrog Artifactory installed on the remote host is prior to 7.111.20, 7.117.x prior to 7.117.27, 7.125.x prior to 7.125.19, 7.133.x prior to 7.133.28, or 7.146.x prior to 7.146.35. It is, therefore, affected by an improper authentication vulnerability. JFrog Artifactory could return an internal anonymous-user token to an unauthenticated caller when anonymous access is disabled, potentially exposing sensitive resources.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to JFrog Artifactory version 7.111.20, 7.117.27, 7.125.19, 7.133.28, 7.146.35, or later.
