The remote host is affected by an improper access control vulnerability.

Description

The version of JetBrains YouTrack installed on the remote host is prior to 2025.3.160480, or 2026.1.x prior to 2026.1.14047. It is, therefore, affected by an improper access control vulnerability:

 - In JetBrains YouTrack before 2025.3.160480, 2026.1.14047 PUT requests on link sub-resources allowed modification of linked entities without update permission. (CVE-2026-86498)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to JetBrains YouTrack version 2025.3.160480, 2026.1.14047, or later.
