Synopsis

The remote EulerOS host is missing a security update.

Description

According to the versions of the rpm packages installed, the EulerOS installation on the remote host is affected by the following vulnerabilities :

 A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability was found in RPM's NDB (New Database) backend in the lib/backend/ndb/rpmpkg.c file. This vulnerability is classified as critical and could affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the system.(CVE-2026-44605)

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the EulerOS rpm security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected rpm packages.
