Synopsis

The Microsoft .NET Framework installation on the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The Microsoft .NET Framework installation on the remote host is missing security updates. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities:

- Incorrect authorization in .NET Framework allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. (CVE-2026-62872)

- Relative path traversal in .NET Framework allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
(CVE-2026-65810)

- Out-of-bounds write in .NET allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally. (CVE-2026-70354)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
