Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing a security update for libxml2.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 10 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2026:60394 advisory.

 The libxml2 library is a development toolbox providing the implementation of various XML standards.

 Security Fix(es):

 * libxml2: libxml2: Arbitrary code execution in xmlcatalog utility via buffer overflow (CVE-2026-11979)
