Synopsis

The Adobe Illustrator instance installed on the remote host is affected by a memory exposure vulnerability.

Description

The version of Adobe Illustrator installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 29.8.10, 30.7. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the APSB26-124 advisory.

- Illustrator is affected by an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to disclose sensitive information. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. (CVE-2026-71441)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Illustrator version 29.8.10, 30.7 or later.
