Synopsis

The instance of JetBrains TeamCity installed on the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The version of JetBrains TeamCity installed on the remote host is prior to 2018.2.2. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities:

- Incorrect handling of user input in ZIP extraction was detected in JetBrains TeamCity. The issue was fixed in TeamCity 2018.2.2. (CVE-2019-12841)

- A reflected XSS on a user page was detected on one of the JetBrains TeamCity pages. The issue was fixed in TeamCity 2018.2.2. (CVE-2019-12842)

- A user without the required permissions could gain access to some JetBrains TeamCity settings. The issue was fixed in TeamCity 2018.2.2. (CVE-2019-12846)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to JetBrains TeamCity version 2018.2.2 or later.
