Synopsis

The remote host is affected by a UI misrepresentation of critical information vulnerability.

Description

The version of Tanium Server installed on the remote host is 7.7.3.x prior to 7.7.3.8298, 7.8.2.x prior to 7.8.2.1198, or 7.8.4.x prior to 7.8.4.1327. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability:

 - A UI misrepresentation of critical information vulnerability could allow an authenticated Tanium user with the 'User Write' permission to hide other users from the 'Users' management UI. (CVE-2026-11925)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Tanium Server version 7.7.3.8298, 7.8.2.1198, 7.8.4.1327, or later.
