Description

The version of Progress MOVEit Transfer installed on the remote host is prior to 2025.0.8 or 2025.1.x prior to 2025.1.4. It is, therefore, affected by a path equivalence vulnerability:

 - Path equivalence vulnerability in Progress MOVEit Transfer (File Upload modules).
 (CVE-2026-8801)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Progress MOVEit Transfer version 2025.0.8 or 2025.1.4 or later.
