Synopsis

The remote SAP NetWeaver application server is affected by an OS command injection vulnerability.

Description

The version of the SAP NetWeaver kernel detected on the remote host is affected by an OS command injection vulnerability as referenced in SAP Security Note 3745182:

- SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP and ABAP Platform allow an attacker with high privileges to bypass missing security controls on an internal code path leading to operating system command execution.
Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to execute OS-level commands that write to the operating system or stop the SAP system, resulting in no impact on confidentiality, low impact on integrity, and high impact on availability. (CVE-2026-58236)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
