Package : libgd2 Version : 2.3.0-2+deb11u2 2.3.3-9+deb12u1 CVE ID : CVE-2026-9672 Debian Bug : 1143152

A vulnerability was discovered in libgd2, a library for programmatic graphics creation and manipulation, which may result in denial of service or potentially the execution of arbitrary code if a malformed GIF file is processed.

For Debian 11 bullseye, this problem has been fixed in version 2.3.0-2+deb11u2.

For Debian 12 bookworm, this problem has been fixed in version 2.3.3-9+deb12u1.

We recommend that you upgrade your libgd2 packages.
