Description

The version of Microsoft Edge installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 150.0.4078.99. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the July 25, 2026 advisory.

- Out of bounds write in Codecs in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.186 allowed a remote attacker to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) (CVE-2026-16807)

- Use after free in Input in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.186 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page.

- Origin validation error in Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) allows an unauthorized attacker to perform spoofing over a network. (CVE-2026-57978)
