Description

The version of Microsoft Edge installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 150.0.4078.96. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the July 23, 2026 advisory.

- Insufficient validation of untrusted input in Chromecast in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.182 allowed a local attacker to potentially perform a sandbox escape via malicious network traffic. (Chromium security severity: High) (CVE-2026-16414)

- Out of bounds write in ANGLE in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.182 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page.

- Integer overflow in Chromecast in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.182 allowed a local attacker to potentially perform a sandbox escape via malicious network traffic. (Chromium security severity: High) (CVE-2026-16416)

- Uninitialized Use in Skia in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.182 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to leak cross-origin data via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) (CVE-2026-16417)
