The remote host is affected by a denial of service vulnerability.

Description

The version of Tanium Server installed on the remote host is 7.7.3.x prior to 7.7.3.8298, 7.8.2.x prior to 7.8.2.1198, or 7.8.4.x prior to 7.8.4.1327. It is, therefore, affected by a denial of service vulnerability:

 - A denial of service vulnerability in Tanium Server could allow an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to perform a denial of service attack against the Tanium Server. (CVE-2026-15053)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Tanium Server version 7.7.3.8298, 7.8.2.1198, 7.8.4.1327, or later.
