Description

The Microsoft PowerPoint Products are missing a security update. They are, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities:

- Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Office PowerPoint allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally. (CVE-2026-55043, CVE-2026-55120, CVE-2026-55123)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Microsoft has released KB5002867 to address this issue.
