Synopsis

Adobe Bridge installed on remote macOS or Mac OS X host is affected by a multiple vulnerabilities

Description

The version of Adobe Bridge installed on the remote macOS or Mac OS X host is prior to 15.1.6 or 16.0.4. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the apsb26-81 advisory.

 - Out-of-bounds Write (CWE-787) potentially leading to Arbitrary code execution (CVE-2026-48311, CVE-2026-48341, CVE-2026-48343)

 - Heap-based Buffer Overflow (CWE-122) potentially leading to Arbitrary code execution (CVE-2026-48339)

 - Untrusted Pointer Dereference (CWE-822) potentially leading to Arbitrary code execution (CVE-2026-48340)

 - Integer Overflow or Wraparound (CWE-190) potentially leading to Arbitrary code execution (CVE-2026-48342)

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Bridge version 15.1.6 or 16.0.4 or later.
