Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The remote Ubuntu 18.04 LTS / 20.04 LTS / 22.04 LTS / 24.04 LTS host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the USN-8519-1 advisory.

 Jakub Ciolek and Nicola Murino discovered that Go Cryptography incorrectly handled SSH agent responses. An attacker could use this to cause a denial of service. (CVE-2025-47913)

 Yuichi Watanabe discovered that Go Cryptography incorrectly handled SSH key exchanges. An attacker could use this to cause a denial of service. (CVE-2025-22869)

Solution

Update the affected golang-go.crypto-dev and / or golang-golang-x-crypto-dev packages.
