Description

The version of Microsoft Edge installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 150.0.4078.48. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the July 2, 2026 advisory.

- Improper link resolution before file access ('link following') in Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network. (CVE-2026-57991)
