Synopsis

An application installed on the remote Windows host is affected by a sensitive data exposure vulnerability.

Description

The version of HCL Traveler for Microsoft Outlook installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 3.0.15. It is, therefore, affected by a sensitive data exposure vulnerability which could allow an attacker to exploit application information to then attempt additional attacks and cause unknown behavior in the application.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to HCL Traveler for Microsoft Outlook version 3.0.15 or later.
