Synopsis

A web-based application running on the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The version of Adobe ColdFusion installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 2023.x update 21 or 2025.x update 10.
It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the APSB26-68 advisory.

- Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type potentially leading to Arbitrary code execution (CVE-2026-48276, CVE-2026-48283)

- Improper Input Validation potentially leading to Arbitrary code execution (CVE-2026-48277, CVE-2026-48281, CVE-2026-48316)

- Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') potentially leading to Arbitrary code execution (CVE-2026-48282)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update to Adobe ColdFusion version 2023 update 21 / 2025 update 10 or later.
