The remote host is missing a security update.

Description

The version of NVIDIA Container Toolkit installed on the remote host is prior to 1.19.1. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the June 2026 advisory.

 - NVIDIA Container Toolkit for Linux contains a vulnerability where an attacker could cause a time-of-check time-of-use race condition. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, escalation of privileges, and data tampering. (CVE-2026-24260)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to NVIDIA Container Toolkit version 1.19.1 or later.
