Synopsis

The remote TencentOS Server 2 host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of Tencent Linux installed on the remote TencentOS Server 2 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the TSSA-2026:0583 advisory.

 Package updates are available for TencentOS Server 2 that fix the following vulnerabilities:

 CVE-2026-40385:
 In libexif through 0.6.25, an unsigned 32bit integer overflow in Nikon MakerNote handling could be used by local attackers to cause crashes or information leaks. This only affects 32bit systems.

 CVE-2026-40386:
 In libexif through 0.6.25, an integer underflow in size checking for Fuji and Olympus MakerNote decoding could be used by attackers to crash or leak information out of libexif-using programs.

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Update the affected packages.
