The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability, as follows:- GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 8.3 before 18.11.6, 19.0 before 19.0.3, and 19.1 before 19.1.1 that under certain conditions could have allowed an authenticated user with maintainer-role permissions to make requests to internal network resources through mirror synchronization due to improper URL validation. (CVE-2026-12635)
Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
Solution
Upgrade to GitLab version 18.11.6, 19.0.3, 19.1.1 or later.See Also
