Synopsis

The remote host has an application installed that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The remote host has a version of ImageMagick installed that is prior to 6.9.13-49 or 7.x prior to 7.1.2-24. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities:

 - A crafted MVG file could result in a stack overflow due to a missing depth or visited-set check.
 (CVE-2026-48734)

 - An infinite loop in the subimage-search operation can happen when using a crafted image. (CVE-2026-48733)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to ImageMagick version 6.9.13-49 / 7.1.2-24 or later.
