Synopsis

The remote SAP NetWeaver ABAP server is affected by a missing authorization check vulnerability.

Description

The version of SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP and ABAP Platform detected on the remote host is affected by a missing authorization check vulnerability as referenced in SAP Security Note 3735546:

 - Application server ABAP does not perform necessary authorization checks for an authenticated user allowing an attacker to execute a report generation command which could overwrite information belonging to another user, resulting in escalation of privileges. This has high impact on integrity with low impact on availability and no impact on confidentiality of the application. (CVE-2026-44751)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Apply the appropriate patch according to the vendor advisory.
