Azure Linux 3.0 Security Update: CBL-Mariner Releases (CVE-2026-11332)

high Nessus Plugin ID 320567

Synopsis

The remote Azure Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of CBL-Mariner Releases installed on the remote Azure Linux 3.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2026-11332 advisory.

- A flaw was found in ansible-core. The ansible-galaxy role install command processes dependency specifications from a role's meta/requirements.yml file. Due to improper neutralization of argument delimiters, a malicious role author can inject arbitrary git configuration flags through the src field.
This allows arbitrary code execution on the machine of a user who installs the role via ansible-galaxy role install. (CVE-2026-11332)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
