Synopsis

The remote EulerOS host is missing a security update.

Description

According to the versions of the ncurses packages installed, the EulerOS installation on the remote host is affected by the following vulnerabilities :

 The infocmp command-line tool in ncurses before 6.5-20251213 has a stack-based buffer overflow in analyze_string in progs/infocmp.c.(CVE-2025-69720)

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the EulerOS ncurses security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected ncurses packages.
