Synopsis

The remote EulerOS Virtualization host is missing a security update.

Description

According to the versions of the zlib package installed, the EulerOS Virtualization installation on the remote host is affected by the following vulnerabilities :

 zlib before 1.3.2 allows CPU consumption via crc32_combine64 and crc32_combine_gen64 because x2nmodp can do right shifts within a loop that has no termination condition.(CVE-2026-27171)

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the EulerOS Virtualization zlib security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected zlib packages.
