Synopsis

The integrated development environment installed on the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The version of JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA installed on the remote host is prior to 2026.1.1. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities:

 - In JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA before 2026.1.1 command injection was possible via filename completion (CVE-2026-49366)

 - In JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA before 2026.1.1 command execution was possible via the guest user account (CVE-2026-49367)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA version 2026.1.1 or later.
