Synopsis

The remote host has an application installed that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The remote host has a version of ImageMagick installed that is prior to 6.9.13-47 or 7.x prior to 7.1.2-22. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities:

 - When writing an IPTC output file a malicious input file could cause an out of bounds read of a single byte.
 (CVE-2026-42326)

 - An of by one in the meta encoder could result in an out of bounds read of a single byte in the meta encoder.
 (CVE-2026-45358)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to ImageMagick version 6.9.13-47 / 7.1.2-22 or later.
