Description

The Linux/Unix host has one or more packages installed that are impacted by a vulnerability without a vendor supplied patch available.

 - ipmi:ssif: Clean up kthread on errors If an error occurs after the ssif kthread is created, but before the main IPMI code starts the ssif interface, the ssif kthread will not be stopped. So make sure the kthread is stopped on an error condition if it is running. (CVE-2026-46044)

Note that Nessus relies on the presence of the package as reported by the vendor.
