Synopsis

The remote Atlassian Confluence host is missing a security update.

Description

The version of Atlassian Confluence Server running on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CONFSERVER-103708 advisory.

- This Improper Encoding or Escaping of Output vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to potentially disclose sensitive information via the Apache Tomcat JsonAccessLogValve, which has high impact to confidentiality, no impact to integrity, no impact to availability, and requires no user interaction. (CVE-2026-34483)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Atlassian Confluence version 9.2.20, 10.2.11 or later.
