Siemens Teamcenter PDF.js Arbitrary Code Execution (SSA-827383)

Synopsis

The remote host is missing a security update.

Description

The version of Siemens Teamcenter installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability:

 - A type check was missing when handling fonts in PDF.js, which would allow arbitrary JavaScript execution in the PDF.js context. (CVE-2024-4367)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Siemens Teamcenter version 2312.0009, 2406.0006, or later.
