Synopsis

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 (on-premises) is affected by multiple remote code execution vulnerabilities.

Description

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 (on-premises) is missing security updates. It is, therefore, affected by multiple remote code execution vulnerabilities:

 - Improper control of generation of code ('code injection') in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (on-premises) allows an authorized attacker to execute code over a network. (CVE-2026-42898)

 - Execution with unnecessary privileges in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (on-premises) allows an authorized attacker to execute code over a network. (CVE-2026-42833)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update Microsoft Dynamics 365 (on-premises) to version 9.1.45.11 or later.
