Synopsis

The remote SAP NetWeaver ABAP server is affected by a code injection vulnerability.

Description

The version of SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP detected on the remote host is affected by a code injection vulnerability as referenced in SAP Security Note 3735359:

 - A code injection vulnerability exists in SAP Application Server ABAP for SAP NetWeaver and ABAP Platform.
 An authenticated attacker with low privileges could exploit this vulnerability to inject and execute arbitrary code, resulting in a limited impact on the integrity of the application. (CVE-2026-40129)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Apply the appropriate patch according to the vendor advisory.
