Synopsis

The remote SAP NetWeaver ABAP server is affected by an OS command injection vulnerability.

Description

The version of SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP detected on the remote host is affected by an OS command injection vulnerability as referenced in SAP Security Note 3730019:

 - An OS command injection vulnerability exists in SAP NetWeaver Application Server for ABAP and ABAP Platform. An authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability to inject operating system commands, resulting in a significant impact on the confidentiality of the application. (CVE-2026-40135)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Apply the appropriate patch according to the vendor advisory.
