Synopsis

A module in the Node.js JavaScript run-time environment is affected by a CRLF injection vulnerability.

Description

The version of the axios Node.js module installed on the remote host is prior to 1.15.1. It is, therefore, affected by the following vulnerability:

- CRLF injection in multipart/form-data body via unsanitized blob.type in formDataToStream. (CVE-2026-42037)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to axios version 1.15.1 or later.
