The remote web server is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The version of IBM MQ Server running on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the 7271938 advisory.

 - IBM WebSphere Application Server - Liberty 17.0.0.3 through 26.0.0.3 IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty is affected by privilege escalation. A privileged user could gain additional access to the application server. (CVE-2025-14915)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to IBM MQ 9.1.0.36 LTS, 9.2.0.42 LTS, 9.3.0.40 LTS, 9.4.0.21 LTS, 9.4.5.1, 9.4.5.1 CD or later.
