Synopsis

The remote Red Hat CoreOS host is missing one or more security updates for OpenShift Container Platform 4.1.18.

Description

The remote Red Hat Enterprise Linux CoreOS 4 host has a package installed that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the RHSA-2019:2860 advisory.

 - kibana: Cross-site scripting vulnerability permits perform destructive actions on behalf of other Kibana users (CVE-2019-7608)

 - kibana: Arbitrary code execution flaw in the Timelion visualizer (CVE-2019-7609)

 - kibana: Audit logging Remote Code Execution issue (CVE-2019-7610)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the RHCOS OpenShift Container Platform 4.1.18 package based on the guidance in RHSA-2019:2860.
