Synopsis

The remote Red Hat CoreOS host is missing a security update for haproxy.

Description

The remote Red Hat Enterprise Linux CoreOS 1 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2013:1204 advisory.

- haproxy: http_get_hdr()/get_ip_from_hdr2() MAX_HDR_HISTORY handling denial of service (CVE-2013-2175)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the RHCOS haproxy package based on the guidance in RHSA-2013:1204.
