Synopsis

The version of Veeam Backup and Replication installed on the remote Windows host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The version of Veeam Backup and Replication installed on the remote Windows host is 12.x prior to 12.3.2.4465. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities, including:

- A vulnerability allowing an authenticated domain user to perform remote code execution (RCE) on the Backup Server.
(CVE-2026-21666)

- A vulnerability allowing an authenticated domain user to perform remote code execution (RCE) on the Backup Server.
(CVE-2026-21667)

- A vulnerability allowing a Backup Viewer to perform remote code execution (RCE) as the postgres user.
(CVE-2026-21708)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Veeam Backup and Replication version 12.3.2.4465 or later.
