Unity Linux 20.1060e / 20.1070e Security Update: kernel (UTSA-2026-011049)

medium Nessus Plugin ID 308548

Synopsis

The Unity Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The Unity Linux 20 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the UTSA-2026-011049 advisory.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

perf/smmuv3: Fix hotplug callback leak in arm_smmu_pmu_init()

arm_smmu_pmu_init() won't remove the callback added by cpuhp_setup_state_multi() when platform_driver_register() failed. Remove the callback by cpuhp_remove_multi_state() in fail path.

Similar to the handling of arm_ccn_init() in commit 26242b330093 (bus:
arm-ccn: Prevent hotplug callback leak)

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the Unity Linux security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected kernel package.
