Unity Linux 20.1060e / 20.1070e Security Update: kernel (UTSA-2026-011315)

low Nessus Plugin ID 308380

Synopsis

The Unity Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The Unity Linux 20 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the UTSA-2026-011315 advisory.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

regulator: core: Prevent integer underflow

By using a ratio of delay to poll_enabled_time that is not integer time_remaining underflows and does not exit the loop as expected.
As delay could be derived from DT and poll_enabled_time is defined in the driver this can easily happen.

Use a signed iterator to make sure that the loop exits once the remaining time is negative.

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the Unity Linux security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected kernel package.
