Unity Linux 20.1070e Security Update: kernel (UTSA-2026-013370)

low Nessus Plugin ID 308035

Synopsis

The Unity Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The Unity Linux 20 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the UTSA-2026-013370 advisory.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

clocksource/drivers/cadence-ttc: Fix memory leak in ttc_timer_probe

Smatch reports:
drivers/clocksource/timer-cadence-ttc.c:529 ttc_timer_probe() warn: 'timer_baseaddr' from of_iomap() not released on lines: 498,508,516.

timer_baseaddr may have the problem of not being released after use, I replaced it with the devm_of_iomap() function and added the clk_put() function to cleanup the clk_ce and clk_cs.

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the Unity Linux security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected kernel package.
