Description

The Unity Linux 20 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the UTSA-2026-013177 advisory.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

ipv6: Fix out-of-bounds access in ipv6_find_tlv()

optlen is fetched without checking whether there is more than one byte to parse.
It can lead to out-of-bounds access.

Found by InfoTeCS on behalf of Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected kernel package.
