Package : bind9 Version : 1:9.16.50-1~deb11u5 CVE ID : CVE-2026-1519

BIND a popular name server (DNS) was affected by a vulnerability.

If a BIND resolver is performing DNSSEC validation and encounters a maliciously crafted zone, the resolver may consume excessive CPU.

Authoritative-only servers are generally unaffected, although there are circumstances where authoritative servers may make recursive queries

We recommend that you upgrade your bind9 packages.
