Unity Linux 20.1050e Security Update: kernel (UTSA-2026-007230)

medium Nessus Plugin ID 306921

Synopsis

The Unity Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The Unity Linux 20 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the UTSA-2026-007230 advisory.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

NFS: Fix an Oopsable condition in __nfs_pageio_add_request()

Ensure that nfs_pageio_error_cleanup() resets the mirror array contents, so that the structure reflects the fact that it is now empty.
Also change the test in nfs_pageio_do_add_request() to be more robust by checking whether or not the list is empty rather than relying on the value of pg_count.

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the Unity Linux security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected kernel package.
