Description

The version of Microsoft HPC Pack installed on the remote host is prior to 6.3.8355. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability:

- Deserialization of untrusted data in Microsoft High Performance Compute Pack (HPC) allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. (CVE-2026-32184)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update to Microsoft HPC Pack version 6.3.8355 or later.
